TM Director John Bingham-Hall joins Adam Kaasa and Nicolas Fonty in the event City and Commons to give a talk titled Common(s) Materials, focusing on the material culture of spaces of commoning. In 2015, Theatrum Mundi launched the challenge Designing the Urban Commons, asking for spatial interventions that would stimulate common ownership of the city. John’s talk will be based on his contribution to the 2016 TM publication ‘The Limits of Design‘. Designing Cultural Commons is a series of three lectures centred on design for cultural commons curated by academic Torange Khonsari and connected to new Cass MA Designing Cultural Commons.
