Call for contributions: crafting a sonic urbanism
EN: Call for contributions: we are organising our next colloquium on sonic urbanism on the 26th of September 2018. The colloquium titled Crafting a sonic urbanism will take place at the MSH Paris Nord and will bring together theoreticians and practitioners, urbanists and musicians, for a day of discussion on how urban design could be remade around the practices, concepts, politics, and aesthetics of making organised sound. The event will be opened with a talk by Professor Richard Sennett
You are invited to read the full call and submit proposals to share research or creative projects, deadline extended to 16th of July. The papers selected will be announced in mid-July. The event will take place in English and in French.
FR: À vos calendriers: nous organiserons notre prochain colloque sur l’urbanisme sonique le 26 Septembre 2018. Le colloque intitulé ‘Réaliser un urbanisme sonique’ prendra place à la MSH Paris Nord et réunira théoricien·ne·s et praticien·n·es, urbanistes et musicien·ne·s, pour une journée d’échange sur les pratiques, concepts, politiques et esthétiques du son et de la ville.
Les présentations retenues seront annoncées mi-juillet. Vous êtes invités à consulter l’appel à communication et à envoyer votre proposition, nouvelle date limite d’envoi 16 Juillet 2018. Les discussions se dérouleront en anglais et en français.
