Theatrum Mundi. The world as a stage. City as theatre. We look upon everyday urban life – lived and performed – as a tool for reimagining our towns and cities.
Our core mission is to expand the crafts of city-making through the arts – storytelling, performance and sound – and diversify who has a voice in these processes. At present those who plan, design and build our cities do not represent the breadth of people living in them.
Whilst we all hold a stake in urban public life those from working class, migrant, diasporic, ethnic minority, neurodivergent and low-income backgrounds, are under-represented in the professions that get to shape it.
We aim to empower individuals and communities to participate in urban development processes through creative methods, supporting them to make innovative and experimental work. Below are different opportunities to support us in our mission.
