Teaching
Theatrum Mundi partners with academic institutions to design and lead pedagogical activities in different scales and formats. From workshops to term-long studios, our team can introduce students to expanded approaches to city-making and urban research informed by ideas from performative arts.

MA Cities
CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS, UAL
Theatrum Mundi has partnered with Central Saint Martins to deliver Unit 1: Voices from the City at MA Cities.
Unit 1 explores the mobility of the voice at various scales (local, city, global) considering the tensions and injustices found at each scale (citizenship, platforming, and polyphony respectively). Through a series of transnational duets and an intensive teaching weekend, the unit develops awareness of the situated and contested nature of creative practices and reflects upon the multiple ways of addressing, voicing and countering challenges in contemporary cities, whilst considering our own embodied experiences and socio-cultural identities.
