Drawing on his extensive critical research into cities and urban culture, Agile City have invited Richard to contribute to their wider discussion around the theme for this year’s Test Unit summer school – Material Flows.

In 2012, Sennett founded Theatrum Mundi and we will also be in residence at Civic House in June to work on ‘Making Cultural Infrastructure’ – our ongoing inquiry into how cities can create the necessary conditions for cultural production. We will be exhibiting related research as ‘Backstage Production’, and hosting a public programme of events, ‘Homemade’.

From 8.30pm onwards, Civic House will host the Architecture Fringe festival Late Thursday social with food, drinks and music until midnight.

More info on this event and others in the Archifringe programme here.

This event is organised by Agile City in relation to Theatrum Mundi’s research partnership and participation in Test Unit 2019 – an art, architecture & design summer school and public events programme.
