Our associates Cecily Chua and Andrea Cetrulo are attending FeltrinelliCamp 2020. The two-day international workshop for young European researchers and practitioners is focused on Transformative Economies: from circular economy to Green New Deal.
This follows John Bingham-Hall’s presentation in the About a City conference in 2018, and subsequent contribution to the Feltrinelli book Città, sostantivo plurale, both drawing from our work on cultural infrastructure.
The team will be presenting work from our Urban Backstages project, focusing on the way that the re-use and informal adaptation of spatial byproducts such as railway arches can be understood as a form of circular economy, facilitated by benign neglect.
The Camp takes place from 29th February to 1st March at Feltrinelli Foundation in Milan.
