Theatrum Mundi and Jayden Ali have created Studio 4: Making Cultural Infrastructure, as part of Unit 1 of the Spatial Practices programme MArch at CSM. This studio will investigate the ways in which architecture can intervene in urban culture at an infrastructural level, by thinking beyond the buildings within which the arts take place to make spatial propositions based in methodologies and techniques themselves derived from performative cultural practices, that increase the capacity of an entire neighbourhood for cultural visibility and expression.
Other studio leaders within the unit include Verity-Jane Keefe, Tom Dyckhoff, Liza Fior, Takeshi Hayatsu, Sven Munder, and TM advisory group member Julia King.
