Theatrum Mundi is a multidisciplinary team of urbanists, designers, curators and cultural strategists. We provide customised consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors, combining ethnographic research, community mapping, workshops, focus groups and collaborative field work.
We are interested in new opportunities to expand our solid base of research on cultural infrastructure, mobility and sonic urbanism to influence policy and best practice guidance documents, and provide research-based recommendations on innovative and inclusive cultural strategies.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- We provide customised consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors, combining ethnographic research, community mapping, workshops, focus groups and collaborative field work.
- We extend these methods through intersections with different forms of artistic practice to reveal new ways for architectural, spatial and urban projects to be sustainably embedded within specific cultural and spatial contexts.
- We provide our clients with recommendations for cultural strategy, programming and policy that can be integrated in different stages of the design process, from strategic definition and planning through construction, handover and longer-term review and appraisal.
- We engage with local stakeholders, activists, artists and communities to inform the R&D process of projects and help deliver sustainable cultural projects that demonstrate a beneficial impact for the public life in urban settings.
As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Theatrum Mundi invests all profits from consultancy back into its programme of self-initiated research and support for emerging, cross-disciplinary practitioners and researchers.
