Decolonize the Dancefloor is a dance-conference as a tool to think about the systems that shape our daily social relationships. Racism, privilege(s), domination(s), resistance, creation, community(ies), fundamental concepts dissected under a sharp decolonial magnifying glass.
Crossing disciplines and identities, Habibitch is a queer nonbinary femme artist and activist, born in Algeria and living in Paris. Using settings from ballroom and queer festivals to institutional spaces, their performances and talks are always intersectional – dancing their politics and politicising their dance.
